Passenger Records

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Passenger Records

Postby wisemonkey » 16 Aug 2008, 19:20

Am having a terrible time finding Salvatore Graziano Ricci passenger record. His request for naturalization shows his arrival on or about August 16, 1914 aboard the Tourmaine. The frustrating part is that there is a ship by the name of La Touraine but the passenger record does not exist for that date.

I did find a record for Graziano Ricci whose father's name is Vito, which is correct. But the ship arrived August 11, 1913 and was the Taormina not La Touraine. It also shows him going to Pennsylvania and he would have been going to Livingston, Montana.

He was born in 1897 in Scala Coeli, CS, Calabria.
Father Vito Ricci
Mother Grabiela Scaliete

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.
