DeLuca/Bisacquino

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

DeLuca/Bisacquino

Postby rdel4577 » 01 Sep 2008, 00:11

I have found that my grandfather, Michele DeLuca b. 17 Feb , 1877 (also listed as DeLucia) was from Bisacquino, Provincia di Palermo. Is there some way to check whether they have digitized their records or not.

I checked the pagini bianchi but come up with no DeLuca's or DeLucia's for Bisacquino.

He married in Sambuca di Sicilia. I have found records for them in the FHC but nothing for Bisacquino.

There are only 4 De Lucia in Palermo province. 1 is in palermo, 2 are in Bagheria and 1 is in Marinero. Go to www.paginebainche.it and put in De Luca inthe first line and PA (for palermo provinc e) inthe second line AND CLICK cerca. If you wish to contact them and ask if they are related (good possibilty) you can either telephone them or send potential relative letter (www.mangeruca.com).

Maybe you have a relative with a business in Bisacquino. Chceck the yellow pages (pagine giallo). =Peter=
