Giuseppe Catrambone

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Giuseppe Catrambone

My father was Giuseppe Catrambone, born Feb. 15, 1890, Gasperina, Catanzaro. Parents: Gregorio Catrambone and Marianna Fulginiti. I have been able to find his siblings on the Ellis Island website but can find nothing on him. He came to America in 1919, according to the 1930 census. He served in the Italian army during the Italo-Turkish war and was drafted into the US Army when he arrived here. Help.
