Naturalization Records: HELP!!!

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Naturalization Records: HELP!!!

Postby taxi55 » 01 Jun 2009, 23:53

Hello - I thought I would try the Naturalization experts in this forum. I have found a lot of info on Giovanni "John" Acierno and his father Giuseppe "Joseph" Stefano Acierno (many thanks to all of you!) but can not locate their Naturalization info. and might need it for Dual Citizenship. I've tried a number of on line searches and found records with the same/similar name - but they turned out not to be correct.

I give up. Will someone give it a shot to see if they have any luck - proving that I am clueless and doing something wrong. :) Even if you can't find it, let me know ... at least I'll know I am not alone...

Joseph Acierno
Born: 1864 (Baiano, Italy)
Immigrated: 1908
Lived in: Manhattan, NY and then Brooklyn, NY
Wife: Jennie

John Acierno
Born: 1901 (Baiano or Avella, Italy)
Immigration and Residence same as above
Father: Joseph
Mother: Jennie
Wife: Josephine

If you need additional info (addresses) - please let me know.

Thanks so much!
