Great Grandmother Antoinette Parrotte

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Great Grandmother Antoinette Parrotte

Postby ckolesa » 02 Sep 2009, 17:09

I am looking for information on a Antoinette Parrotte and son Ralph Parrotte. would like to know when they came to America and from where. would like information on her husband, my great grandfather not mentioned in the 1930 census. It appears that my great grandmother arrived in 1887 so she must have come through castle garden and not ellis island. How do I get a copy of ship manifests from there? alternate sp. of her name may be Perrotta.

Hi,

Was Perrotta her married name? She might have travelled under her maiden name. Do you know it? Was Ralph a child or an adult?

Here is a site for Castle Garden.
