I am looking for information regarding my fathers landing in Halifax. He arrived on or about August 12, 1951 on the Vulcania. Are manifests for the ship journey easy to come by??? I am trying to do this for my dad as a surprise and hoping it is available without having him contact the privacy commish....
Thanks
Anthony

Anthony,
Without a name it is difficult to help. Ancestry does hold Atlantic Ports Passenger Lists, 1820-1873 and 1893-1959, but you cannot search on just the name of a ship and a date.
If you think education is expensive - try ignorance!

Go to www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/genealogy/0 ... 007-e.html for immigrant records to Canada after 1935. =Peter=
