Napoli - Buenos Aires

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Napoli - Buenos Aires

Postby Granadabuenosaires » 24 Sep 2009, 17:23

Hello,

I know that my great grandfather Giovanni Russo emigrated to Argentina from Napoli at the end of the 19th century.

I would like to know if there are any records recorded in the port of Napoli and if you can´t find out from which commune he is orignally from

He also travelled with an uncle

And a related question, are such records kept in Buenos Aires with the place of birth?
