what is an uncertified copy of a death cert?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

what is an uncertified copy of a death cert?

Postby removelardo » 31 Dec 2009, 04:20

I submitted a request for a search of record in my attempt to locate the naturalization records of my grandfather.

I need to mail a "uncertified copy" of my grandfather's death cert. to the USCIS. Can that just be a copy of the death cert. I have from the town hall or do I need to go and get another one to mail for this search?

Thanks.

A photocopy of the certificate already in your possession should be adequate.
