You can wirte to Ufficio di Stato Civile in Siano and request a ESTRATTO DI NASCITA for Natale Pesce born 1910. I believe the fathers first name is Sebastiano if I am not mistaken. This will resolve the problem of Maria's maiden name.
Go to www.angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwisdom/it ... tters.html and obtain form letter in Italian. The request is free of acharge and you can find the address at www.nonsolocap.it and clickon CERCA and then clickon the name after it comes up and scroll down to MUNICIPIO for the address. =Peter

Ellis Island has it transcribed as Dormarummin, but the name in Siano seems to be Donnarumma. I believe that is Maria's name. The name is quite common in Campania.

Donnarumma is also listed in the Italian surname dictionary coming fromthe base name donno. Oddlyt he name means someone who is estranged from family or friends. Good work Misbris. =Peter=
