I jave received my nan's bc from italy- and im not sure if it the 'legal' one that I need wen applying for Italian citizenship- it says estratto per riassunto dai registri degli atti di nascita?

if it not how do i write a letter for the correct one

That's it. Assuming that it has the signature and official stamp (they seem to always be in blue) of the stato civile officer, the consulate will be satisfied.
