Del Duca from Taranta and Dell'aria family- Katalinic f

Postby DK101 » 02 Feb 2010, 16:59

Hello

I have made Y-DNA genetic test and have good match with Del Duca and Dell'aria family.

Another lady with witch I am in contact had 1 marker weaker Y-DNA test and she have found on site http://www.carfang.com/ direct male ancestor witch is born 1772 (where her line have branched). That means I should also find my branched point around that year.

The problem is when my ancestor came to Dalmatia, Croatia he have change his family name.

My family name is Katalinic very known Dalmatian surname.
My problem is that I can not find my grand grandfathers birth certificate.
If anyone knows connection between Katalinic family name and DelDuca Dell'aria or others Italian surnames please let me know.

Thank You
