Citizenship for minor children

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Citizenship for minor children

Postby Drew927 » 15 Mar 2010, 18:35

I know that children under 18 are listed on my application for citizenship Jure Sanguinis.

Will that automatically grant them citizenship or do I have to file a separate application for each of them at the same time I submit my application?

Does anyone have thoughts or experience with this topic?

I believe all you have to do is submit a birth certificate for each child. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Thanks for the response. The Apostilled Birth Certificates won't be a problem.

As with all American documentation, they need translation as well attached to the long form with the seal.
