1896-1906 Northumberland county PA birth certificates, nat.

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

1896-1906 Northumberland county PA birth certificates, nat.

Postby Roccella » 16 Mar 2010, 00:40

I am trying to research some family that came over to the Mt. Carmel, Northumberland County, PA about 1889, had kids between 1894-1900, and naturalized 1901-1906.

I can't find any indexes to help me out here. I do have the birth date of one of the children but don't know how to go about ordering the cert.

In full disclosure, this is the Lithuanian (non-Italian side). The Italian side was much easier to research because they never anglicized their last name like this part of my family did.

Thanks in advance for any help! :D
