Can't make April 1 SF appointment--anyone ready to go?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Can't make April 1 SF appointment--anyone ready to go?

Postby maurinini » 16 Mar 2010, 03:32

I can't make my April 1, 2010 appointment to review my citizenship application via jure sanguinis at the San Francisco consultate. I've waited two years for this but unfortunately still having trouble obtaining certain documents.

I emailed the consulate to see if it was possible to let a friend--one of you out there in cyberland--come to my appointment instead and got a response: "Who is she and what is her situation?"

Anyone ready to go? Proper documents, translations, apostilles and all. I really don't want to waste their time.

Let me know. I should probably reply in a day as the appointment is very soon from now.

Thank you for the offer. I wish I could but I have surgery that week.
