will not amend document

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

will not amend document

I inquired about amending death and marriage certificates for my GGM and got a response saying it is impossible. I know she is not in my direct line and chances are it will not matter but the question is will consulates accept official letters from the institution that holds the document saying they will not allow a change? NYC consulate. just curious.

Probably, especially since she is not in the direct line. If they even look at her documents, I will be surprised.
