Not The Same Man -- So Disappointing

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Not The Same Man -- So Disappointing

Postby jennabet » 18 Oct 2010, 22:48

Petition Nbr. 7903 just arrived from Nara. It's not the same man -- but they both have the same, common Italian name. Where do I go from here? I don't think he naturalized but if anyone can help me confirm this, it would be much appreciated.

Already have letter from USCIS saying he never became US citizen.

Here's more info:

Name: Francesco Perri, aka Frank Perri, Frank Perry
Born: Platania, Catanzaro Calabria -- April 15, 1894
Arrived: We THINK -- May 7, 1912
Married: Teresa Manerino -- October 23, 1912, Driftwood, PA (Cameron County, PA)
Died: March 15, 1926 (age 31) -- Niagara Falls (while working for Carborundum.

According to Press/Independent front page, March 25, 1926, remains were brought to his parents Mr. & Mrs. Angelo Perry's home on Portage Street.

Back on the right track now. Searched Ellis Island again and found what I overlooked the first time.
