Cofresi family reunion in New York City!

Post by taino106s »

Cofresi Familiy,

The Cofresi family who came from North Italy (Trieste) settled in Puerto Rico (Cabo Rojo)

Decendents of
Francesco Giuseppe Fortunato VON KUPFERSCHEIN (COFRESI) & Maria Germana RAMIREZ DE ARELLANO SEGARRA

Parents of
Juana COFRESI RAMIREZ DE ARELLANO
Juan Francisco COFRESI RAMIREZ DE ARELLANO
Ignacio COFRESI RAMIREZ DE ARELLANO
Roberto COFRESI RAMIREZ DE ARELLANO (El Pirata)

We all know our parents generation got together at Orchard beach andparks and each others' houses all the time. Wouldn't it be great to have a Cofresi gathering that brought us all back together?

The idea is that we'd all gather from 1pm-? on Saturday, July 10th in Pelham Bay Park and just have a day in the park together. If everyone brought enough food (potluck style) to feed themselves + a little more it'll work out perfectly. The key is that everyone needs to reserve the day (it's in
It would be great to have someone who knows the area to suggest an exact spot and train & bus routes. If everyone makes an effort to attend, this will be wonderful!

Feel free to group-respond to this message with thoughts & suggestions.

More details to come,

The place you are talking about Pelham Bay Park is atg the end of the Lexington Avenue Local Pelham Bay line which ends at Pelham Bay park. Directly across the street from the elevated subway station is the park and picnic areas are close by. People can also take NYC buses to the Orchard beach where there are more picnic areas. By car they can come from the Whitestoine bridge, from Long island, Brooklyn or Queens coungty and by car from the Bruckner expressway from manhattan (via east or west side highways) and the Bronx tgo Pelham Bay park. They all meet at the junction of the subway station and bus stops and highways at Pelham Bay Park. Peter
