Michele Iasalvatore

I'm looking for a Michele Iasalvatore and there are 2 Michele's coming from Piedimonte D'Alfie and I have the ship names, but neither show up on the manifest's.....Here is the info I have on them...I have looked on Ellis Island & Ancestry.com.....Any help would be appreciated......Sal4

Michele Iasalvatore 45 yrs old... ship Trave ...March 3, 1902 coming to New York to brother Raffaele.

Michele Iasalvatore 30 Yrs old.... ship Europe... June 29, 1907 coming New York to brother Francesco Iasalvatore.
Looking for surnames Iasalvatore (Salvatore), Tartaglia, Rosetta, Consola, Di Muccio, Castellano, Montanaro, Dipaolo, Costa, Sansone, Giudicianni and Laudato.

Biff........THANK YOU..........No wonder I couldn't find either I was only looking for Iasalvatore, not a different spelling of the name. Can you make out what the writing is after brother Raffaele's name? I know now for sure that the Michele that came in 1907 is my grandfather's brother, only because he states my Grandfather's other brother's name. I just wonder if the other Michele is maybe a cousin........Thanks again.........Sal4

Happy to have been able to help.

Just my take perhaps someone else can verify on the 1902 manifest.

Manifest states Michele is a US citizen, previously in the US between 1887 and 1901; the writing I believe states that he was naturalized in the City Court of Utica NY under the name Michael Salvatore.

Hi Sal and Biff,

Yes, the 1902 manifest states that Michele is a "Citizen discharged at pier" and goes on to state what Biff has deciphered above...
