Chicago Consulate Appointment Time

Postby bene2950 » 13 Nov 2010, 00:09

My son just attempted to get an appointment in Chicago. Here is the reply: Subject: RE: REQUEST OF APPOINTMENT
Date: Fri, 12 Nov 2010 15:37:53 -0600

Appointments are completely booked for the remaining part of the year 2010.

Please re-submit the application for appointment after January 1, 2011.

We will not assign 2011 appointments until January 2011.

The Citizenship Office receives applications by appointment only.

Just wanted everyone to know.

I've run into the exact same thing here in PA with the Philly consulate. I've tried many different ways to overcome this, but nothing worked. I've been waiting since June to get my appt scheduled, but 2011 is just around the corner now.
