translation of marriage certificate of mother's 1st marrige

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

translation of marriage certificate of mother's 1st marrige

Postby garypeg » 14 May 2011, 19:49

Mother married her first husband, who died several years later. Mother then married my father.

I have a certified copy of her first marriage with apostille. I may need this document to show that my mother began to use 'Diana' versus her birth first name of 'Sebastiana.'

Should I have the first marriage certificate translated into Italian?

Thanks

Gary
