Passenger List and more

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Passenger List and more

Postby joecqr » 23 Aug 2011, 01:57

Hi All,

Im looking for the passenger list of ship Bourgogne that arrived in Santos/São Paulo/Brazil in 27/04/1884. Here in Brazil we dont a collection related with this date. I was wondering if it could be found in Italy or French since this ship was manufactured by a French Company.

Another help is that Im looking for a copy of the birth certificate of my relative called Giacomo Francesco born around 01-jan-1884 to 30-april-1884.

Could you help me????

thanks!!!!

Stupid (but necessary) question: which is his first name and which is his surname? Both Giacomo and Francesco exist as surnames in Italy and, of course, both are common given names as well. :)

The first name is Giacomo and the surname is Francesco, it's what has been reported in the married certificate, and his father call Antonio Francesco.
