Success in San Francisco - Mail in

Post by timjolin »

Thank you to everyone who helped with my questions throughout this process.

I received an email from the consulate in SF last week saying that my documents were in order and that barring any unforeseen problems, I will receive a confirmation letter in 2-5 months.

I began seeking to claim my Italian citizenship in July of 2009. Along with my sister, we each spent about $400. Our path was pretty straight forward with no name changes, missing documents or even divorces. We qualified through our Great grandfather -- grandmother -- father.

If any one has questions about my process let me know. I've spent countless hours researching and reading so I feel as if I have a lot of knowledge at least as it relates to my situation.
