Looking for grandmother's records Albina Stronati

Postby el turco » 15 May 2012, 14:45

Hi,
i am looking for a birth record of my grandmother Albina Stronati (or Estronatti, or Stronatti), born June 15, 1901
Her parents were from Ancona, Italy:
father - Fernando Stronati (Estronatti, Stronatti)
mother - Antonia Scarpano (Escarpano)

They have moved to Argentina later. I would also be interested in ship records arriving to Buenos Aires.
If anyone can find any information please contact me!

Thank you!

I did research the birth registry in the interval 14 June - 29 June 1901: not found.
I suggest that Ancona isn't the right city.

There are 22 listings for Stronati in Argentina. Perhaps any one of these might be related to your family? Peter

Did you check the anagrafe office in Ancona for retrun to Italy from Argentina or did you immigrate elsewhere from Argentina? I have listing of all ships in immigration trade for North and South America. Peter

I came across A. Stonati born in CIVITANOVE MARCHE born 1903 age 29 with a previous address in Toronto Canada which if this connects with Albina's family then this is the place of origin for Albina who was born in 1901. Please let me know so that if so you might also want to check with the anagrafe office there if they have a record of when the family left or returned to Argentina between the census. Peter
