Statement of "no records" for dual citizenship

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Statement of "no records" for dual citizenship

Postby Doug Jones » 16 May 2012, 20:23

Hi,

As far as I can tell, I qualify for dual citizenship. The census records and others I've found say that my great grandfather was not naturalized before my grandfather was born.

But I need help finding out how I get the statement of "no records".

I heard that I need statements from USCIS, NARA, City/local court as well as the US census department.

I already ordered the USCIS search, but I don't know how to order the others. Can anyone help? (FYI - The place of residence in the US was St. Louis, MO)

Thank you for any help!
