Passports issued same day in NYC?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Passports issued same day in NYC?

Postby 846newyorker » 09 Jun 2012, 19:19

Does the New York City consulate issue your passport the same day you apply in person? Or do you have to wait to have it mailed to you? (Or can you go pick it up in person after your appointment to drop off the application?)

Thanks!

I received mine in the mail about a week later. It may take a bit longer today.

My appointment was on April 2012. After the paperwork, finger printing machine I was given my passport on the spot.
