Siculiana Italy Certified records

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Siculiana Italy Certified records

Postby jbjkms » 23 Jul 2012, 20:41

I sent a request to Siculiana Italy for certified birth certificates and a certified marriage record. I already have found the records, but this is for someone seeking Italian citizenship so I need certified copies. I've been to the official site for Siculiana but could not locate an address for the Anagrafe or L'Ufficio Stato Civile office. The only address that seemed to be relevant is Servizi Demografici, Piazza Basile 23, 92010 Siculina. So the letter was sent there the beginning of June. I sent it registered mail and am concerned because it does not show the mail has delivered yet.

Does anyone know if that's the correct address? Or can I email the Anagrafe office at Agrigento to get certified records for Siculiana? These records are from 1868 and 1894.

Thank you for your help!

thanks Laura and Valarie. I resent it DHL and I know at least that it delivered. But it has been over 2 months. Hopefully something will show up soon.

The LDS films are missing many years after 1866, the records you need may not exist. If you need someone to call the Comune send me a PM.
