Caro .....

Essentially, he is saying that he is writing from a small village in Abruzzo and that for several years he has been doing research on his family's history. This is for his personal interest and he also wishes to publish a small book for family and friends. During his research, he discovered that the brother of his ggf emigrated to PA with his wife and children around the turn of the century. His first voyage was in 1906; the second in 1909. His name was Francesco (also known as Frank Match) and he travelled with his wife Giuseppina DiLorenzo (Josephine De Lorenzo). His children were named Antonio (Anthony) and Italia (Leta).

Thanks to the Internet and other genealogical sites he has been able to construct a partial family tree for the descendants of Francesco Macedone (Frank Match). He has come to you to help him, if you wish, to complete the parts of the tree still missing.

It is with much happiness and emotion that he contacts you and he hopes you will respond to his request. He sends you much good wishes and encloses some of the information he obtained through his research.

From me: How exciting this is for you!

Sorry, I misunderstood. I will try again.

Dear.......

My name is .... and I am writing from a small village in Abruzzo. For the past several years I have been researching the genealogy of my family for my own interest and to ultimately publish a small book for family and friends. During my research, I discovered that one of the brothers of my great grandfather emigrated to the United States (Pennsylvania) with his wife and children around the turn of the century (the first voyage in 1906; the second in 1909). Francesco (also called Frank Match) was the name of my ancestor and Giuseppina Di Lorenzo (Josephine De Lorenzo) was his wife's name. The two children were named Antonio (Anthony) and Italian (Leta).

Thanks to the Internet and other genealogical sources, I was able to create a partial genealogical tree for the descendants of Frank Macedone (Frank Match). My research takes me to you as a descendant on this branch of the family tree and only you, if you are willing, can help me complete the parts I am missing.

It is with happiness and emotion that I write to you with this request and I hope you will respond and help to answer my questions.

My sincere best wishes.

PS. I am attaching with this letter the partial results of my research
