I have a number of questions regarding the process for gaining dual citizenship. I have seen so many conflicting bits of information and my family wants to be properly prepared.
I have seen on one site under their apostille section stating that "documents" need to be less than a year old. Is this solely for apostilles? We have original birth/death/marriage certificates and are unsure if we need to request new, fresher copies of them.
Thanks very much.
Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.
