Would this birth certificate work?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Would this birth certificate work?

Postby ozabbavo77 » 16 Dec 2013, 02:53

Hello,

I am currently in the process of acquiring documents for dual citizenship via jure sanguinis. I recently wrote to an Italian comune for a copy of a relative's birth certificate. Unfortunately, I did not realize until after sending my letter that the U.S. Consulate requires the “formato internazionale” or the “estratto per riassunto” (showing his/her father’s and mother’s names). Does anyone know if this version (photo attached) of the certificate would be acceptable? My main concern is that the parents' names are not listed.

Thank you so much!

It looks like that image didn't upload very well. Attached is a better version.
