I have several questions about getting Citizenship through juris sangu
1. If the Italian ancestors changes names after getting to the US so that the names on the birth certificates are different than those on marriage certificates, is this a problem and if so can what should be done? 2. California offers two levels of vital certificates--informational and official ones which require notarization and are available only to a limited number. Are the official ones required or can one use the informal plus an apostille? 3. If one is trying to get citizenship for the spouse and children as well as the Italian grandchild, can all the documents be submitted at once or does it have to be done sequentially waiting for the Italian grandchild to be granted citizenship and then have another appointment for the the spouse and children? If it must be done in stages, what is required for the second stage, just the citizenship of the Italian Grandchild or does one require all the documents for the first application?
