Child turns 18 after interview

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Child turns 18 after interview

Does anyone know what happens when one applies with a minor child who turns 18 after interview but before papers arrive? I assume they would not have to reapply?

Consulates appear to handle this entire subject of "adult" children in different ways. Which consulate are you applying at?

Applying in San Francisco . Hopefully we will get through the process before 16 year old turns 18, but consulate has just put all requests for appointments on hold for 5 months.
