Ordering Birth Certificate from Province

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Hello,

I am applying for citizenship through my great grandfather. I need to order his birth certificate from Italy. I need to order from the Town and Province of Teramo. I cannot find the appropriate information of when and where i can order this from. Any help is greatly appreciated

You should write to the town of birth (Commune).

You should probably request new ones anyway, most certificates in Italy are only valid for 6 months. Be sure to include a copy of those you have when you request new ones.
