Houston Consulate

Postby tmr834 » 29 Oct 2015, 21:54

I am new to this forum, and I am at the beginning stages of applying for dual citizenship through my great-grandfather. I have read that the wait for an initial consulate appointment can be long, so I am trying to schedule that while I gather the required documents.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has had success recently scheduling a citizenship appointment at the Houston consulate? I have searched the threads in this forum, and I can't find anything more recent than 2011 or so. I have tried to go through the online appointment scheduler, but it says they only book appointments 6 months out and it is not showing any availability for the next 6 months.

Any insight into the Houston consulate would be much appreciated!
