Spouse's Oath of Allegience at the NYC consulate

Postby Drew927 » 05 Nov 2015, 15:47

Finally completed the long journey and my wife is officially an Italian citizen. Today we scheduled her appointment for a passport after receiving her Italian Birth record from Napoli.

The swearing in was not what we expected after watching several video's online. In addition, the oath was different that the one she memorized. It all worked out in the end and we are DONE!!

Thanks to all on this site for the information and support throughout the past several years! Could not have done it without you.
