1905 Census, New York ?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

1905 Census, New York ?

Postby luclor97 » 15 Mar 2016, 20:14

Hello everyone !

I'd like to see Mrs. Marina Botteri in the years between 1900 and 1910... Is there a census in 1905 where to find her residence? She arrived in New York in September 1900, she went to her sister's house Cassola Maria, wife of Leon Cassola.
Marina was married in 1903 with Mr. Manfredo Ballerini. I did not find them even in 1900 Census ...

Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad english...

Surname is spelled Balarino on the census.

I can not find when Manfredo Ballerini arrived in America ...
Perhaps there is some census before his wedding?

Ciao!

You will not find Marina in the 1900 Census (I posted her sister and brother-in-law above in 1900) because she arrived AFTER the census was taken.

Like you, I also searched without luck for Manfredo Ballerini in the 1900 Census. I will continue to search for him.

Manfredo's name must be very misspelled, or the census missed him...

I have searched extensively, and he still eludes me!! :-)
