Please advise just what information you are seeking. What are your research objectives. We do not conduct research but merely direct you to appropriate websites and addresses for persons and official locations for documents. inititally what I can tell you is that oimmigrants could have entered the USA at a port other than NYC. Go to www.genealogylookups.com/narchives.htm and submit a form 81 passenger arrivals record for Gaetano so that the Government record keeping office NARA in Washington, D.C. can give you the correct information. You have toi go to the town of origin for the person you are interested in and furnish their full name and date of birth. You can request birth, marriage or death records from UFFICIO DI STATO CIVILE. COMUNE DI............(put in town name and postal code. Go to the left under databases for towns in Italy), Province of........., Region of......., Italy. Send a request in Italian by going to www.italianancestry.com under part 3 for form lettersd in Italian. Send a self addressed envelope and enclose a $5.00 in US or EURO dollar for stamps. Please let me know if you need the postal code and other information. Peter

I haven\'t thought of that but I will remember to do that in the future. I was able to find my great grandparents on the Ellis Island site . I just can\'t seem to find his brother and unfortunately I do not know his wife\'s maiden name.
