immigration

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

drac484,

Do you have them on census records that show year of arrival?

Haven't found anything under Larklus, exact or by soundex.

Where did they settle in the US?

however with your previous post are some discrepance.. the better help, and if you sure about ship's manifest of Giuseppe La Rosa born abt 1872 in Rosarno, well you can ask the birthact in Rosarno civil records office, and are also the marriage notation with right name spouse and date of marriage; also you can see the LDS microfilms of Rosarno civil records

it is i also interesting that are another Giuseppe Larose mistaken in Sarosa coming from Rosarno, age 30 in jan 1903, in travel with Ferdinando Pantano... also in previous ship manifest mentioned here Giuseppe joining Dionisio Pantano cousin...

larklus is no italian surname as Fanines first name, it seems a greek name...
best regards, suanj
