Errors in documents

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Errors in documents

Postby PIMPDADDY » 17 Jun 2007, 04:25

I have received all the necessary documents to apply for citizenship however 1 or 2 have errors, I was hoping that someone could tell me how much troublesome the errors may be. The only issues are someone from the Italian lines birth certificate states their name as Maria while all other documents refer to her as Marie. Also on some documents the full version Ersilia is given and other documents the name is shortened to Elise. Please let me know from experience how issues like that are handled.

The first--no problem; the second--maybe.
