Martha Defino

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Martha Defino

Postby 1wiseone » 11 Sep 2007, 13:33

I am looking for my grandmother's sister's records. She immigrated to somewhere in South America, perhaps Argentina, between 1900-1910. Her married name was Matilda Defino, maiden name Bottino. She had a brother, Michael who stayed in Italy and my grandmother. Frances, married name Ricci. The town where they lived was Scala Coeli, Calabria.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
