Centro de Estudios Migratorios Latinoamericanos CEMLA has 7 Dameno immigrants but there is no additonal information provided onthe internet. You can send an e-mail in spanish to cemla@cemla.com for more information but as you know you will have to fillout applic ation and pay mo ney for the information. If you go to www.familysearch.org and under ancestor search just put DAMENO and nothing else and 4 Dameno surnamed persons are listed . two from Italy, Argentina Brazil.

For C hile you might want to go www.blancas.cl and put Dameno in the last line under apellido paterno and there is one personin Nunoa Chile.

In Argentina there are 29 Dameno most likley they come from the original 7 who immigrated there. www.paginasamarillas.com.ar for the names

You can go to the other countries in South America and review their telephone directories as well. Uruguay has almost 100 Dameno subscribers on the telephone and of course there is the large GRUPPO Dei Lombardi Paysandu in Uruguay. If you go to www.numberway.com you can find the remainder in the USA, Canada and the remainder of Latin America. =Peter=
