According to Castle Garden, Teresa Luchetta immigrated to New York on 5/25/1901 however I have not been successful locating her name on the ship manifest. Can someone help me find her? Thanks, Vivian

Thank you Suanj and Elizabeth for your replies. The Teresa Luchetta, Borgotiano 1902 is the person that I'm inquiring about. The other person from Novara is not the correct individual and unfortunately the Teresa shown on line 16 of the manifest (that Elizabeth shared) also appears to be the wrong person. On the 1902 Manifest she was shown as 19 years old and married with a 2 year old daughter and a 6 month old son. From marriage records I know that she was married in New York in 1898. Thanks anyway for your help, it solved my mystery of why I couldn't find her on the 5/29/1901 manifest. Thans again, Vivian

Hello Biff and Suanj, I appreciate the information on the births of Joanna and Johanna. I recently ordered their birth records from New York and await the copies. I'm convinced that these children were (both named after their grandmother, Giovanna) and daughters of Francesco (Frank) and his older brother Pietro (Peter). This reply helped me confirm that I may be on the right track. Thank you Biff!
How wonderful to get your reply Suanj. I'm currently awaiting a copy of the marriage certificate from New York City on Francesco and Teresa, it shoud be here anyday. I appreciate the address information on where I can write in Italy for the civil records of Teresa. Another step forward, thanks for you all. Vivian
