I paid the full price and this is what I got. My grandmother's last name spelled an entirely different way, than I have ever seen. Her mother's first name as Pazi, I thought it was Salvatrice. Also, her mother's maiden named spelled different than it is. I got a different year of birth. Her marriage last name spelled differently and just that she was born in Italy.

The cool thing is, I can see her signature. So I am touching a document that she touched. I felt the same way when I went I saw the papers my grandpa filled out to be a citizen.

The moral of the story is the language barrier. So don't give up and remember the Italians were not liked very much when they first came, so whoever filled some of this stuff out, may not have cared about accuracy :)
