Help in locating Family obits

Postby Mardi » 02 Oct 2008, 00:30

In doing my family genealogy, it take me to other states. Most are from Louisiana and Texas. My question is: Is there a website that I can get these obits myself, by signing up with a website that gives me access to them, instead of writing to Houstion Library and having them search. I already have Ancestry.com. I heard of several others but don't know how reliable they are....just need some advice....Thank you

Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
I did not find any obits for the first and last names listed.
I did a search on the surname and found about 9 obits with the surname Shilllaci in Houston but it stated the text was not available from the publisher.
I believe obitsarchive stops in the 1980's.

Ancestry.com has a Charles Schillaci (Oct. 22,1976) and Biaso Schillaci (5/27/1963) listed for the Texas Death Index.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks,
Joann
