Hello. i received an email from Sicilia ( "Archivio di Stato Enna" <as-en@beniculturali.it> ) I was hoping someone would be as so kind to translate for me??



In riscontro alla Sua richiesta, si fa presente che effettuata la ricerca nel fondo dello Stato Civile del Comune di Piazza Armerina, si è rinvenuto il seguente atto:

Atto di nascita di ROMANO Lorenzo, nato a Piazza Armerina il 02/02/1889 (numero 97), figlio di ROMANO Salvatore Filippo e di RISTAGNO Maria Filippa.

Per il rilascio dell'atto sopra indicato, come prevede la normativa in materia, dovrà fare apposita richiesta al Comune di Piazza Armerina al seguente indirizzo:

Our records reflect that Romano, Lorenzo, biorn Piazza Armerina on 02/02/1889 (#97), son of Romano, savatore anbd Ristagno, Maria Filippa.

How are you faring Peter with the latest storm? We got hit with the ice storm and below 0 temps, but the ice covered trees look rather beautiful as if coated in crystal...feel sorry tho' for the 31,000 homes with no power
due to snapped lines....... :(

hello Wldspirit.

I live within 40 miles ( north ) of Peter. I have to say we got hit hard here. 10 inches friday night and then another 7 inches on Sunday. The monday before we had an ice storm.

I thought i lived in NY nit Alaska........... :D

8O ......I think I'd rather have the ice than all that snow!!!

Where I live in Illinois....we probably have no more than three inches of snow, but we have another storm moving in Tuesday, so that is subject to change.... :?

Florida is looking better all the time!!!!! :wink:

We live in the Hudson River so there is no snow only cold frigid wind blown water and snow in the streets already turned icy. Rain will be coming to clean things up a bit. Merry Christmas folks!! =Peter=
