Heres a great new website...The Cosenza Archives is a free site which requires registration but is an amazing resource for those of us researching Cosenza.

http://88.59.143.158/ascs_web/index.faces

Another great site is www.stevemorse.org which host ship manifests, You may be able to track down theirs.

Not sure how much research you have already done but just a heads up. Always best to start with yourself and work backwards collecting as much US documentation as possible.

Thank you. This is definately Sal (Sam). I had a copy of his death certificate but could not read it. I did not know they lived in Conneaut at one time. Christine and the children made several trips (3) back and forth from Italy until she finally stayed in Ohio. Thanks again.

I was really suprised to find this post. I was looking for the same family coming from Italy. This post has really helped me find so much about my Great Great Grandparents. I am so thankful that I found this website. How are you related to them?

Hi,
I have Imbrogno's in my family too.
They were from Pietrafitta, Cosenza, Italy.

Rosa Imbrogno born 1800 and married Carmine Cinnante (born in Celico) in 1832 in Pedace.
Rosa's parents were Pasqaule Giuseppe Imbrogno and Rosaria De Vuono.
