Hi,
My paternal grandfather's maternal grandfather (my GG Grandfather) may have been born in the city of Castellammare Adriatico about 1860. Castellammare Adriatico merged into the city of Pescara in 1927 and was subsequently bombed severely during World War II. It belonged to the province of Teramo before the merger in 1927 and became part of the province of Pescara afterwards.
My question is where would I write to find the vital records for Castellammare Adriatico? Would it be the Ufficio dello Stato Civile in
Pescara?
Thank you,
blujay

Hi Bluejay
The LDS has microfilms you can order. Here is the link
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/library ... ato+civile++
You need to locate an FHC (Family History Center) and go in to order the films. Use this link to locate a center
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... et_fhc.asp
Takes about 4 weeks to receive the films and the cost is about $5.00 per film.
Hope this helps in your research.
Regards
Elizabeth
