Info on Rafaele Tevola

Postby CELESTINA » 07 Mar 2009, 01:35

I was wondering if anyone has info on Rafaele Tevola, he was born in the late 1800's-early 1900's in Naples , in the town of Castellammare Di Stabia. His mother was some sort of royalty such as a princess or countess. He was put up for adoption because he was born out of wedlock, but kept his biological parents last name. He was married to Carmela Dimaio , who was the daughter of Giacomo and Cira Dimaio.
Any info on any of the above names would be great.
Thanks!

Thanks Peter for the reply. I tried it out but couldn't find anything, it may be too far back.

There is no micorfilm record for all births, marriages or death inthe Mormon family History library for Castellammare Di Stabia, 80053 (Napoli) Campania region.

It maybe there is a record of being placed in an orphanage as you say but that may require more research on your part in obtaining information as to name, date of birth which can be found at entry into the USA as an immigrant. Try Ellisisland.org for the information.

Go to www.angelfire.com/ok3.pearlsofwisdom/fr ... earch.html and read how to do your own Italian genealogy research. There are form letters we can furnish you to write to Italy for birth and adoption records as well. Work backwards from the USA to Italy. =Peter=
