Maria's maiden name was D'Ascoli. See following 1910 Boston manifest for her brother Vito and sister Maddalena from Siano who are joining her and husband Amadio Pesce in Boston. Lines 9 and 10.

Hi, :D

This is Luigi Pesce (he's listed under his mother's maiden name...) arrival in 1905, travelling with D'Ascoli Maria and sister Luigia (U.S. born)... Maria stated she was in the U.S. before, from 1902 to 1904.... so possible this was a second arrival for Luigi?

From Ancestry.com:

Boston Passenger Lists, 1820-1943

Pesce brothers born in Eboli, Salerno

Hello,
Biff, Mary Jo & Laura, really great record finds!

I was looking for Amadio’s father, Giuseppe, mentioned on the 1902 manifest that Mary Jo :D found.
I found Amadio’s brother Domenico instead from the (click here) 1910 census and 1902 ship manifest

1913 Ship Manifest
page 2

Lines 27 - 29
Domenico Pesce born abt 1884 in Eboli, Salerno
His mother Luigia is in Siano
He was in Boston 1878?? - 1912

His wife Elvira D‘Ascoli (born abt 1882) & son, they were both born in Siano, Salerno
Elvira was in Boston 1909-1912

And another brother on
Line 25,
Antonio (b abt 1887) also born in Eboli & living in Boston 1898? - 1912

I only added these records in case the poster wanted to do any family research in Italy - Eboli should probably be considered along with Siano

Valarie

I really appreciate this help! I found someone on Findagrave.com, who is going to go to Holy Cross cemetery in Malden Massachusetts where these brothers are said to be buried and they are going to photograph the stones so i can get exact birthdates and deaths.
I am actually finding this addictive. I was prompted to start this because my Father Louis Delizzi Pesce passed away ( Sept 6,1932- 3-7-2009) and I realized all this knowledge left with him and nobody recorded it.
So many things we wish we had asked but never did.
