Bosi from Modena

Hi: I have been researching my fathers family for years. Have done Ancestry.com...no results. I know my Grandfather, Evaristo Bosi came from Modena a came to the US in early 1900...around 1903. He was around 23 yrs old. Had an older brother Niceto who also came over and a half brother Judach. Mother was Clara...Married Angiolina Rojadi (not sure at all on spelling) in Italy...assuming Modena... and then came here. I would love to find some of their siblings and their children. My sisters and I are planning our first trip to Italy next year. If anyone has any info I would love to hear from you

they were going to Padd - Illinois, to join Evaristo's brother Adeodato them both declared their place of birth and last residence as Pavullo di Modena...
The correct name is Pavullo nel Frignano - Modena province - Emilia Romagna region.
Evaristo was leaving in Italy his father Isidoro who was living in Renno di Pavullo an hamlet of Pavullo, about 3 miles far.

This was the second arrival for Evaristo... he was in the U.S. a first time in 1905, here is the arrival manifest:

It is actually LADD Illinois......many many immigrants traveled to this area to work in the coal mines.
Terrible conditions.....the money they made was little, and the rent for the rooming shacks was very high.....
