Hello!
We would be happy to help.
Checked several databases and google and can't find where the surname 'Rusquilli' occurs in the US.
If you provide a few more details about your family perhaps we could help you trace them back to their town of origin in Italy.
Thank you!

Family was from the southern part of Italy and/or Sicily.
Name was changed to Roskilly when they went through NY. Roskilly is Irish....we are not Irish.

That's all we have.

Thank you!
Do you have the name of your immigrant ancestor and where they lived in the US?
Any bit of information may help.
You're right, all the Roskilly's arriving thru Ellis Island appear to be British or Irish.
Thanks

Yes, I believe it could be Roscilli. We have a very bad hand written interpretation of the last name.

My Grandfather came here with his brother, mother and true father, theyt came over around 1920's. His Father passed away, and his Mother IDA remarried to a Richard Crenshaw. My Grandfather was Deaf, and the family never related to him much information. The sent him to a very good deaf school. I know they lived near the Illinois/Missouri border. My Grandfather's school was near the University of Illinois. He moved up north of Chicago in the late 40's.

What was your grandfather's first name? His brother's first name? His father's first name?

Any and all details you can supply will help us in the search for records.

Yes, Ida was my Great Grandmother.
Richard Crenshaw was my Grandfathers Adopted Father.

From what we know, my Great Grandfather passed away early, and Richard married and took care of my Grandfather.
